Student Travel Grants

ACM SIGACT is pleased to provide funds to support student registration, travel, and accommodation for STOC 2025. These travel awards are for students who are short on funds and are intended to help cover their registration, travel, and accommodation expenses. This support is funded by the US National Science Foundation and is only available for students attending US universities.

To apply, you will need to fill out the following form by April 27th, 2025 in which you provide basic information about yourself, an estimate of your expenses, and a brief statement:

An advisor may support the applications of at most two students for a travel award.

In addition, you will need to have your advisor send a letter of support to stoctravel2025@gmail.com by April 27th, 2025. Your advisor's letter should also describe the availability of other travel funds. This letter should be sent with subject line "support letter for [your name]". This is very important. Your application is not complete without this letter.

Late applications (after April 27th, 2025) will not be accepted. You will be notified about your status by April 30th.

Notes: Receipts will be required for all travel awards, and reimbursements will be made after the conference. Food or visa expenses will not be reimbursed.
